Survivorship Training and Rehab (STAR)


MaineGeneral Medical Center is the only hospital in Maine to offer nationally recognized, certified rehabilitation services to patients suffering the side effects of cancer treatment.

The hospital earned its STAR (Survivorship Training and Rehab) Program® certification from the Massachusetts-based Oncology Rehab Partners, an organization considered to be among the leading experts in the field of cancer survivor care.


Our program's specially trained clinicians include:

About the Program

The STAR Program® is offered at some of the best hospitals in the country. Our clinicians work together with each patient to develop a personalized rehab plan, aimed at getting patients back to highest quality of life.
