Home IV therapy is the administration of intravenous (IV) fluid, antibiotics nutrition or chemotherapy in the comfort of your home.
Patients and families learn certain tasks related to IV administration and care.
Some IV treatments and medications need to be monitored by lab testing.
What Our Team Does
Our nurses are skilled at teaching you or a family member to assist with IV care.
- A HomeCare nurse will work with your doctor and pharmacy to make sure home is the right place for the therapy you need.
- Our intake team and patient accounts team know a lot about IV care at home and will work with your insurance company so you understand payment options.
- Because our patients have a hard time leaving their homes, our team can take a blood sample at your home so adjustments to your treatment can be made if needed.
