MaineGeneral Medical Center (MGMC) has developed an Emergency Medicine Fellowship designed to train a recent family medicine or internal medicine residency graduate to work in Emergency Medicine.
The intent is to provide a high-quality educational experience that prepares the graduate to work full-time in an Emergency Department that does not require board certification in Emergency Medicine.
Fellowship Program Highlights
- A one-year program that runs from July through June.
- Reimbursement is commensurate with the level of Fellow plus full benefits over the year and 4 weeks of vacation.
- The Fellow will be supervised by an Emergency Medicine physician at all times while working in the ED. Please read the curriculum outline for details.
- Funds for educational expenses are available including:
ATLS, ACLS, PALS (if needed)
