With shorter hospital stays, mothers and babies need more
follow-up care now than they did in the past.
Our nursing staff will call you the day after your hospital
discharge to "check in" on you and your baby. We will also
schedule a time for you and your baby to have a follow-up visit.
Our goal is to make a weekday visit (Monday through Friday) to
your home, but the visit may be done at the hospital as well. On

baby to see how you are both doing.
