At MaineGeneral Orthopaedics, we recognize that our patients
may have some anxiety about treating their orthopaedic injury or
condition through surgery or other methods.
They want to stop the pain and reduced functionality that are
part of their daily lives, but may feel overwhelmed by the many
things they need to consider as part of their treatment.
We provide patients with information and assistance when they
visit our office, but also offer the following pages for patients
to refer to before, during and after their surgery.
Knowing more about your procedure and how to take care of
yourself after it allows you to make well-informed health care
decisions leading to a successful recovery.
