Activities are an essential part of residential life at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation & Long Term Care.
Our certified activity coordinators and their assistants evaluate individual needs, then develop activities on a group or individual level to meet residents' abilities and interests.
We have a wheelchair-accessible activity van so residents can go out to lunch, visit museums, go fishing or participate in various community events.
Other activities include:
- Craft activities
- "Gerobics" (exercise for the elderly)
- Discussion groups
We also offer ongoing community involvement, including monthly Grange suppers, visits and presentations by Scout troops, school children and other visitors.
