Availability of Skilled Care
Should your loved one need skilled nursing services following a hospital stay, we're able to transfer him or her from the hospital to the Skilled Unit located on the floor below our "neighborhood."
This option allows the skilled staff to meet our residents' nursing care needs while we maintain a bond with them.
Often, when one of our residents is on the Skilled Unit, you will see a continuous flow of visitors to the unit from our neighborhood.
'No Boundaries' Activity Program
Our activity and wellness department prides itself on its "No Boundaries" program.
Each resident has a personalized activity program.
We believe if a resident wants to participate in a particular activity, we will find a way to make it happen.
This approach has included involvement in community programs and the fulfillment of a request by one resident, who had never been out of Maine, to travel to New Hampshire.
We offer social and physical programs to ensure our residents' individual and group goals are met.
Our dining room is a large country setting where we offer restaurant-style dining.
Our residents have a variety of choices at meal times.
They can decide what time they wish to eat and can choose a meal plan that meets their nutritional needs.
All of our meals are prepared with homemade ingredients and with sincere thought to create a meal similar to one our residents would have prepared him or herself.
