Hand Therapy is provided by MaineGeneral's occupational therapists who specialize in treating patients with elbow, wrist and hand injuries.

- Cumulative trauma disorders
- Nerve injuries
- Tendon lacerations
Our occupational therapists work on an individualized basis with patients to evaluate his/her needs and develop a treatment plan for the best possible outcome and return to function.
Hand therapists specialize in fabricating custom splints and brace fittings for the upper extremity. They also perform worksite assessments and provide recommendations to reduce risk of injury at work.
