We make payment easy by billing Medicare, MaineCare, Anthem and other private insurances directly for services provided.

We can also fill out your insurance claims and help you figure out what types of insurance coverage and other helping resources you can receive.

We want you to have the care you need.

If your doctor has ordered home care and you do not have insurance, we will work with you to arrange payments you can afford and, in some cases, will provide your care free of charge.

Hospice and palliative care are covered by Medicare, MaineCare and most private insurance companies. Insurance also covers most medications and therapies.

Charitable contributions to MaineGeneral Hospice help us provide quality care to our patients whose needs are not met by insurance.

These needs may include medications, massage therapy, equipment or other direct care items or services, such as bereavement care.
