Our child-initiated and directed preschool program serves children ages 3 to 5-1/2.
Children choose discussion topics according to their interests and are encouraged to be creative and imaginative.
Activities focus on the process, not the end product. All learning materials and supplies are displayed in a child-friendly, inviting manner.
Our preschoolers visit the Glenridge nursing facility regularly where they participate in activities and spend time with the residents.
These activities are planned by the Center and Glenridge staff. At all times, the welfare of both the children and residents remains a high priority.

Your Child's Development
We assessing each child's development, and we do this through development assessment conferences and portfolios.
Development assessment conferences allow teachers and parents to share information, learn how programming is working for families and create individual goals and objectives. A parent or legal guardian must attend.
Conferences are held at least twice yearly and more often if the parent or staff deem necessary.
