Developmental Portfolios

Each child at the Center has a developmental portfolio that contains daily meaningful observations of the child.

Observations are made with attention to each child's goals and objectives. This information is used to track progress in each area of development.

Through this approach, our staff can tailor activities, classroom materials and teacher/child interactions appropriately to guide each child's developmental growth.

Our portfolios also contain photographs, writing samples, parent-teacher meeting documentation and a development profile/checklist that is completed every three months.

This portfolio is considered to be your child's assessment plan.
