Dr. Dohner joined MaineGeneral Medical Center's active staff in April 2013 when he became medical director of MaineGeneral's Palliative Care program. A graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his family medicine residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center and is certified by both the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Hospice & Palliative Medicine. Dr. Dohner has a special clinical interest in end-of-life counseling for families, medical ethics and practice management.
