Hospice helps more than 80 families each day.
Our comprehensive and compassionate program helps people with life threatening illnesses maintain dignity and comfort.
We emphasize living each day to the fullest — in a comfortable place, free of pain and surrounded by loved ones.
Whether at home, in a nursing care facility, in the hospital or any combination of these places, we offer patients and families the choice of care to best meet their needs.
Affiliations
HealthReach Hospice is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and its Quality Partners Initiative, the Maine Hospice Council and Home Care & Hospice Alliance of Maine.
We are also certified by Medicare and MaineCare (Medicaid) and are licensed by the state of Maine.

Our Role in Providing
End-of-Life Care
Hospice neither prolongs life nor hastens death.
Our goal is to educate, relieve pain and suffering and to provide support to help families cope during the patient's illness and the family's bereavement.
Patients and their families are the decision makers in care.
We make sure our patients have the care, medications and supplies they need to be as comfortable as possible.
We also offer alternative therapies such as art, music and massage.
